Wow, what a day! Ian Kahn, CNN Futurist, 3-Time TEDx Speaker and
Author, kicked off DSF ’18 Boston with a rousing Keynote Breakfast.
His talk, which tackled the topic of digital disruption and how businesses
can maximize their technology investments to drive profits and efficiencies,
was attended by more than 250 professionals. Following Ian’s keynote,
attendees headed to the conference area, where they had a choice of
attending seven tracks, highlighted by twenty packed sessions focusing
on The Future of Communications: Designing for Digital Engagement,
A Peer-to-Peer Roundtable led by MetLife on How to Build Customer
Relationships, Key Milestones to Hit for Your Information Management
Strategy and The Impact of Blockchain on Forms and Document
Management
—to name a few.
After a busy morning of sessions, more than 270 attendees gathered
for lunch and a special Keynote by Joe Shepley, VP and Practice Leader
of Doculabs. Joe shared insights on how to create high-speed digital
transformations strategies and what it really means to those professionals
in attendance. Following lunch, attendees once again headed back to
the conference area for more incredible educational content. When the
conference program ended for the day, everyone was invited to the Exhibit
Hall for our Triple D (Demo + Dialogue + Drinks) Reception. This was the
first time attendees and exhibitors got a real chance to meet each other
in a relaxed social setting, sharing some great food and drinks.
By the way, our Matchmaking Program was a big hit!
Well, it was a busy, eventful and full day, and we are getting ready to
do it all over again tomorrow. For those of you who are attending the
Exhibit Hall, tomorrow is your day! The Exhibit Hall will be open from
11:30am – 2:30pm and includes lunch for all. And if that’s not enough,
you’re also invited to attend our Closing Keynote, featuring Karen Hobert,
Gartner Research Director. Karen will be discussing how the digital
business demands a radical shift in how we think about content.
