| About the Speaker: |
| Irena James is Vice President of Product Development for YG Laboratories, Cofounder of CelleClé Skincare and Instructor of Cosmetic Sciences at the UCLA Extension. She oversees the development of high performance formulations and applications of award-winning technologies in successful skincare products used by thousands of skincare and beauty professionals and luxury brands. Over the past two decades, Irena has educated generations of students, clients, and industry peers on skincare ingredients, treatment protocols, and brand development. She has been a hands-on skincare therapist, Professor of Esthetics at Seneca College in Toronto, Canada and Director of Business Development for cosmetic companies in the EU. Irena is a member of Beauty Industry West and the Society of Cosmetic Chemists, and a frequent contributor to the industry publications. Her education and career has been dedicated to finding new solutions for aging, acne, sensitivities and other ‘hard-to-treat’ skin conditions. |
